Muscovy Duck Removal

Muscovy Ducks were introduced in South Florida and are considered a non-native species. They can be harmful to native wildlife and according to the FWC, they are considered “undesirable because of their potential to transmit diseases and/or to interbreed with Florida native waterfowl.”

In addition to this, the most common complaints about Muscovy Ducks are:

  • Droppings – they can make any driveway or pathway undesirable to walk on.
  • Population growth – they’re known to breed quickly, meaning a Muscovy Duck infestation.
  • Aggressive – if they’re not accustomed to being around people, they can become aggressive very quickly.
